The history of anime began at the start of the 20th century, when Japanese filmmakers experimented with the animation
techniques that were being explored in the West. During the 1970s,
anime developed further, separating itself from its Western roots, and
developing distinct genres such as mecha and its Super Robot sub-genre. Typical shows from this period include Lupin III and Mazinger Z. During this period several filmmakers became famous, especially Hayao Miyazaki and Mamoru Oshii.
In the 1980s, anime was accepted in the mainstream in Japan, and experienced a boom in production. The rise of Gundam, Macross, Dragon Ball, and the Real Robot and space opera genres set a boom as well. The film Akira
set records in 1988 for the production costs of an anime film and went
on to become a success worldwide. Later, in 2004, the same creators
produced Steamboy, which took over as the most expensive anime film. The Super Dimension Fortress Macross also became a worldwide success after being adapted as part of Robotech, and Megazone 23 also gained recognition in the West after it was adapted as Robotech: The Movie.[citation needed]
The internet also led to the rise of fansub anime. Spirited Away shared the first prize at the 2002 Berlin Film Festival and won the 2003 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, while Innocence: Ghost in the Shell was featured at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.

MY top 5 Anime
Every one have his favorite anime list, this is mine.
I'm not gonna talk about One piece, Naruto, or Bleach because those are on a different league than others,
every body loves and knows about them.

5-Toradora!
A nice comedy/romance anime the heroine is kinda of a tsundere type, she and the main character start as strangers with common goal, their relationship starts to grow up, it's nice anime and i recommend that you watch it.
4-Skip Beat
At the beginning i thought it was a normal love/comedy anime, but it surprised me with a twist in the events from the first episode. Skip beat has a unique style, not last ago it was one of my top 3. The story is about kyoko a girl who followed her childhood friend from home to the city so he can realize his dream of becoming a star , she believed he was her prince and worked so hard to support him, but she was choked to find out that he was only using her.
Therefore her journey for revenge begins.
3-Hajime no Ippo
Hajime no ippo is an quite old anime (ok a lot old) but it is still yet one of the best animes ever, Ippo is a high school boy who is being bullied a lot, on his pursue of change, he finds out aTbout boxing and how amusing it is, so he makes his debut.
the fights are amazing and the graphic is pretty good, it ended as an anime but still going on as manga, it already reached the 1000 chapter.
2-Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
It was hard to choose between the first and the second place for this one, because it's just awesome. No-good-Tsuna is a the 10th heir of an Italian mafia, but being good for nothing a tutor comes to teach him how to be the 10th boss of the family, this tutor is no more than an infant but who is strangely one of the strongest in the world. So Tsuna's life is turned around and his search for guardians begins.
1-Code Geass
This is my number 1 Anime (Action/Drama/Supernatural/military) The story is starts after the Brittannian Empire invades Japan and rename it to area 11, Lelouch is a very smart student he gets caught in a terrorist attack, and meets a strange girl that gave him a strange power, the power to commend anyone at will. For the sake of revenge Lelouch uses his ability and tactical talent and goes under the name of Zero and vows to destroy brittannia.

My first manga
My first manga
the end is what bugs me it was good but not as good as i was hoping for it kinda accelerated at the end.
I didn't start reading manga until lately but i have read quite a lot (skipped school by faking sick again). It started when i finished all episodes of Naruto and new ones were just fillers and kind of silly so i started reading it , frankly at the beginning it was quite annoying i missed the sounds and the visual effects that i'm used to in Anime but after few chapters my imagination filled what was messing and it was quite amusing to read plus it was faster than watching anime after i read quite few i started to distinguish between different mangaka(s) just by seeing the art style and the pattern of actions in the story. I admired it so much that i wanted to make my own manga or at least try i started by learning how to draw
but it was so hard even though i have been at it for a while now i still suck maybe i'm not fit for it :'( .
The name of the manga was Psyren , the first few chapters were blurry did'n understand what they're talking about but at the same time it was entertaining there was many mysteries and questions that needed to be answered it kept me always curious the flow of events was nice it wasn't neither fast nor slow it was perfect and the appearance of new characters was always on time but it kind of lacks on romantic side.the end is what bugs me it was good but not as good as i was hoping for it kinda accelerated at the end.
I recommend www.goodmanga.net to read manga .
And as soon as i find a nice one i will write about it.
My first Anime
Death note
My first Anime was a master piece a legendary one if I may say I watched it in two daysI faked sickness and stayed home to watch it (don't recommend that you do that)
I was 15 years old and i started acting like a grown up and stopped watching cartoon
but once I tried Death note I was like screw this I'm still a kid
It may be kind of an old Anime and i don't know maybe because it was the first one that i watched but it still yet the best Anime ever.
